The thermal engine is so
exceptionally perfect for this use, that the brightest corporate minds
on the planet, Edison Labs, have set up their installation in southern
California using thermal engines and simple thermal discs that can be
made from home. Anyone can replicate the solar thermal engine on a

How
does it work?
Below is a simplified diagram outlining the work flow as it happens.
The disc which can be made from a large stainless steel cooking dish
lined with small mirror tiles, focuses heat directly onto the
displacement shaft of the thermal engine. Believe it or not, the
displacement shaft can be a thoroughly cleaned soup can!!

the materials to make a functioning little stirling engine for less

spring timer that makes the dish follow the sun each day, but these
dishes are so easy and cheap to make we think having 4 dishes aligned
with the suns daily movement is ample to get the small amount of heat
needed onto the displacement shaft required to get the motor pumping

This thermal engine can be
run from the heat of your palm!
The model we are about to introduce you to actually runs from the heat
of your body, it will actually tick over by simply placing a warm palm
on the displacement shaft.. Hence this model is named 98.6
°F+
98.6 degrees
fahrenheit is
the normal temperature of the healthy human body. The plus sign refers
to heat requirements above this temperature.
Harnessing the power of
climatic movement inside an engine
This is no exaggeration. This is precisely how the stirling mechanism
works to produce power and move its two pistons. A conventional
combustion engine moves its pistons and gets its work energy
transference from the small explosions ignited inside the cylinder
chamber by burning fossil fuels.
The thermal engine gets its work energy transference by utilizing the
same force that nature produces when it creates wind.
High and low
pressure systems collide in our atmosphere to exchange temperatures.
The high and low, in other words warm air and cold air collide in a
violent clash resulting in air flow or wind disturbance of the
atmosphere. Warm air is heated by the sun causing it to rise due to
expanding oxygen molecules, the more dense cold air is sucked in by the
vacuum which causes wind or thermo movement. This movement in the
stirling mechanism on a micro-scale is captured by push rods in our
design to create work energy which is transfered to the balanced fly
wheel and thereby rotating the alternator causing it to store
electricity in the deep cycle batteries ready for use in the home.
Essentially
the engine is fueled by air!
When we speak of an engine, we automatically think, what fuel does it
run on. This can be a confusing point for some, because we call it an
engine, but it doesn't actually burn anything to make power. It
utilizes
the atmospheric force of warm air and cooled air in the engines micro
environment to create convection current which is transfered by
push rods to capture the energy. We call it an engine because the
thermal engine does
have pistons and those pistons transfer work energy by push rods.
Technically it basically is an engine. But it doesn't burn anything to
create energy.
An important point
I qualify the above statement by saying yes, the engine itself does not
burn anything to run but there is no such thing as perpetual energy in
physics. Newtons first law explains this clearly, "for
every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".
Meaning what you gain in one area you lose in another. The
engine still requires heat energy from an external source to displace
the micro environment inside the engine which will cause it to run.
This heat need not be much but of course the more heat this device
gets, the more output (work energy) it will deliver.
The
solution? The Sun of course!

I just cant believe my model works! I spent over 4 hours on it and it
looked terrible. I just followed the instructions not knowing what I
was doing and to tell the truth, I didn't think my junk heap had a
