“Don’t Be Held Back By Your Resume”

Achieve a better job, a better life by learning the

key secrets the top job seekers have used for years!

Dear Friend,

I have an important question for you to consider:  “How much of your life are you wasting by not having the job you want?”  Take your time and think about the answer.

Psychologists say that how happy and satisfied we are with our lives is directly related to how much control we have over our environments.  Do you currently possess the power and freedom to shape the kind of life you wish for yourself and your family?  Do you have the financial means to pursue your dreams and make your desires a reality?  Or are you trapped in a dead-end job and restricted from the kind of life you want and deserve?

Let’s face it, while it is true that money does not buy happiness, it does buy us the freedom and independence so that we can create our own happiness.  Think of what financial freedom affords us: travel, homes, health, and peace of mind.

Stop and ask yourself:  Is your career holding you back from achieving these things?

My name is Kris M, and I wrote this e-book “Resume Secrets Revealed:  The Guide to Writing a Great Resume and Getting a Job” so that people could achieve a better position in life where they could pursue their ideal lifestyle with a satisfying career and financial assurance.  A great life starts with a rewarding career – and sometimes the difference between a rewarding career and unhappy employment or unemployment, is simply a good resume.

Only One Page to Decide Your Life

How important is a resume?  It’s just a piece of paper, right?  But think about it – a resume will decide whether or not you get an interview.  An interview will decide whether or not you get the job you want.  The job you want will ultimately determine how much control you have over your life (i.e. your happiness).  Therefore, that one piece of paper has the power of determining whether you live the rich, fulfilling life of joy and freedom you dream about, or being stuck in a boring, low-paying job that prevents you from the living the life you desire.

It’s not really fair, but that is the way the system works.  You owe it to yourself to ensure that the resume you are submitting is the absolute best application you can deliver.  I’m here to make sure that it is.

  Job Secrets Finally Revealed!

My e-book “Resume Secrets Revealed” is a collection of the most elusive, underground job hunting secrets that I have harvested over the years while working with job seekers.

Who did I write this book for?

Those who recently lost their job Those unhappy with their current job situation Those unfulfilled by their career and wish to pursue a different line of work Those who wish to obtain a higher salary Those who feel barred from their dream job because they lack the experience or education – you can get around this! Those who seek employment with the US Government Those who feel constantly rejected for jobs that they know they are perfect for!

Do you know these job hunting secrets?

What is the one follow-up technique that 99% of applicants neglect to do after submitting a resume? What key feature should you include on a resume that will allow a hiring manager to overlook a lack of experience or education? What are the three emotional triggers your resume absolutely must have in order to get an interview? What single mistake do job seekers almost always make on a resume that causes their resume to go into the trash for jobs they would be actually perfect for? What keywords should you include in a resume so that automated scanners will find your resume? What is the number one reason people do not get hired?

If you did not know the answer to any of the above questions then you are simply not aware of the underground tricks-of-the-trade that professional executive search, recruitment, and placement firms have been using for years.  Those who obtain the top jobs over applicants with more qualifications, experience, and education do so by employing these secrets.

The difference between having this knowledge or not is the difference between having the job, the life, you want or not.  You simply can’t afford not to know it!

Why is it so hard to find a job?

If your resume has ever been rejected for a job you were qualified for – a job you were perfect for – then you already know that job hunting is not easy and it is not always fair.

Most people simply do not realize how many resumes hiring managers go through in a day.  While the advent of the Internet has succeeded in connecting job seekers with offers, it has also resulted in increasing the sheer volume of “resume spam”.  Job seekers can submit their resumes with a simple click of a button.  They have nothing to lose, so why not submit electronic versions of your resume to hundreds or thousands of job offers?

Now imagine being a hiring manager who has to sort through and consider hundreds or thousands of resumes submitted each day, every day.  At first, you might have the patience to read through each resume in its entirety and consider each applicant.  But after a while, hiring managers just skim and scan resumes, looking for “garbage triggers” so they can click delete and move on to the next applicant.

Does your resume have “Garbage Triggers”?

“Garbage triggers” are what I call the common but subtle mistakes that at least half of all resumes unknowingly make that cause hiring managers to toss your resume into the garbage without even looking at your experience and qualifications.  You may have “garbage triggers” on your resume right now that are automatically disqualifying you from the jobs you are qualified for.

Could one small “garbage trigger” be undermining all your years of experience, education, and qualifications?

Get Into the Mind of a Hiring Manager

If you don’t believe me, then I have an experiment for you to try.  Go on to Craigslist and post a job ad for a fake job.  Give a reasonable job description and salary; or, just copy one from somewhere else.  Now sit back and watch your email inbox fill up with applications and resumes.  Don’t be surprised if your inbox overflows overnight!

See how many you can read, pretending to consider the applicants for your fake job.  How long does it take before you start developing your own “garbage triggers”?  You quickly learn to spot things that cause you to reject a resume without reading all of it.

I recommend you try this experiment to get an idea of just how hiring managers perceive your resume and how the burden of electronic resumes has forced them to adopt these “garbage triggers”.

Standing Out Among Hundreds

But not only must you avoid the usual “garbage triggers,” you have to craft a resume that emotionally resonates with your reader.  What does this mean?  It means that your resume gives them a good feeling they can identify with you.  If you trigger this emotional response in a hiring manager, you can stand out among hundreds of other applicants.

I will teach you how to stimulate this feeling in your reader and make sure they are dying to meet you.

Make or Break – In Three Seconds or Less

As you will undoubtedly discover, a job seeker only has about three seconds before a hiring manager will decide whether or not to consider the applicant, usually based on an unconscious emotional resonance – just a feeling they get.  After three seconds, their mind is made up.  It doesn’t even matter what the resume says beyond these three seconds.  Even if the rest of the information is read, the hiring manager will only use it to justify the emotional decision they already made in three seconds.

Feelings speak louder than facts, but you can use this to your advantage!

Does Your Resume Emotionally Resonate?

It’s unfair, but you can’t blame them.  Too few hiring managers have to sort through far too many applicants.  They can’t help but develop techniques to prematurely decide on an applicant based on the first few seconds in order to keep up with their work.  It’s human nature to discover the fastest way to accomplish tasks.  You just have to make sure that your resume isn’t triggering those responses that get it thrown in the garbage while at the same time it is triggering those key emotional responses in a hiring manager that piques their curiosity and makes them want to know more about you.  I can show you how to do this.

Learn the Underground Job Seeking Tactics

In my e-book, “Resume Secrets Revealed:  The Guide to Writing a Great Resume and Getting a Job”, I will teach you the basics of resumes as well as the elusive techniques utilized by the top job hunters.

You will learn:

How to grab the attention of your reader within 3 seconds – that’s how long it takes for a hiring manager to decide whether to keep reaching or chuck your resume into the trash. How to avoid the most common “garbage triggers” – the frequent mistakes resumes make that cause most hiring managers to skip it immediately when encountered. How to write a resume that emotionally resonates with your reader, giving them the feeling they want to call you for an interview unconsciously and using the rest of your resume to logically justify this feeling. How to stand out among hundreds of other applicants and get your foot in the door so you can get an interview How to get hiring managers to look past your lack of experience or education – a must for new job seekers who have no prior experience or those looking to change career fields! How to be a “focused” job seeker, with clear career goals.  An employer can sniff out an unfocused job seeker a mile away.  How to anticipate interview questions and prepare ahead of time. What to leave out of your resume.  Some resumes try to include too much and saturate their focus.  Remember, less is more! How to be focused on the present and future.  Employers care more about where you are going than where you have been.  You can use this to avoid having little experience or education.  The Do’s and Don’ts that trip up most job-seekers who would otherwise be hired. How to build an online portfolio that gives you a leg up over other applicants How to find a government job and how to take advantage of the stimulus package which has exploded the number of government jobs available.  How to come off as “unique” in your resume, which is actually much better than appearing too-good-to-be-true. The winning network strategies and form social connections which pull you towards your dream job How to write a killer cover letter that will land you an interview How to craft an “objective” and why this may be the most important part of your resume! Where companies that you want to work for are looking for you.  Find out how to contact and apply at the best companies for you Companies are using technology to sort through resumes faster with keyword searches.  Learn what keywords to use in your resume so that it will show up on electronic searches over your competition.  How to give a lasting impression that says you are the right person for the job to the hiring manager How to negotiate the salary you desire and deserve How to polish your resumes and dig up those hard-to-find errors that bury themselves deep in most resumes Finally, you will learn the key job qualities that are transferable among ANY job you desire and how to emphasize them on your resume.

  Stimulus Opportunities

But this isn’t all!  I have revised my e-book to reflect the new opportunities that have surfaced as a result of The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.  With the current stimulus package pumping more money into government funding, job seekers have unprecedented opportunities to take advantage of new job offers created for the US Government.

My e-book describes where to find these great jobs and how to obtain them.  But you must act quickly!  These incredible jobs are highly sought after by fierce competition and they are being filled at a rapid rate.  Fortunately, with the secrets revealed in my e-book, you will have the tools to get ahead of the pack!
