Here are JUST A MINOR FEW genuine problems I have suffered in my life and have overcome, I am 100 % telling the truth.

I am a chronic Alcoholic and have recovered one day at a time
I have been a chronic Alcoholic since 1990 and have attented over 5000 meetings amongst many other fellowships and self help organisations

I have had problems with presciption medications and other substances

I suffer Major insecurity and self worth problems

I lived with deep depression AND suicidal thoughts

I have been on 3 life support machines and stopped breathing been hosptalised over 10 times and spent time in mental institutions

I have spent time in MANY clinics and Police cells

I destroyed my family and freinds utterly and ended up desolate.

I had so much PRIDE I would not accept what was happening to my life

I would not to talk HONESTLY TO OTHERS who had been through similar problems, I do not mean doctors or shrinks just normal folks

Now matter how big the party or crowd I always felt an outsider different in many ways - I was caught up in my own head - there could be a thousand people around me but I was still a prisoner to MYSELF

I was unable to hold down jobs or marriages - I had many employment warnings and resigned rather than face any confrontation

Doctors and psychiatrists have given up on me prescribed every tranquilser under the sun anti depressants and beta blockers plus lots more rubbish .. IT NEVER WORKED

THERE IS NO MEDICAL CURE FOR ALCOHOLISM

Yes I have tried hypnotherapy, electric shock treatment and a host of other treatments the result again was nil.

I remained the same and never had any hope my life was a misery from awakening to retiring at night fear was with me all day , fear of tomorrow , fear of life , fear of the unknown a constant churning stomach caused by adrenalin, dizziness and sweating. I WAS IN A MESS.

Panic Attacks the feeling of impending doom , hyper ventilation, pins and needles, a torture, a living hell. IT REALLY WAS.

I remember unable to drive a car incase I was caught in traffic lights - If I was I would leap out in the middle of hundreds of cars as my panic was so enormous - this happened regular.

I could go on forever I really could but the point im making is that normal folks do not suffer these emotional problems to the extent us Alcoholics do - if they do they do not run to the bottle like we do !

Our emotions therefore have the power to kill us

THESE ARE THE PRINCIPLES THAT CHANGED MY LIFE - THESE CANNOT BE ACHEIVED WITHOUT A RIGOUROUS LOOK AT YOUR SELF AND SOME UNPLEASANT FACTS YOU WILL UNCOVER - FACT.

I was the most selfish creature on planet earth but I did not think so.
