High school graduation rates are a problem that never seems to get solved.

Sometimes, they get so discouraged that they drop out of school and don’t graduate. These are the very young people who

need help and often don’t get it.

I’m a teacher. Some years ago, I "invented" a solution to the high school dropout problem. The solution is a remarkably

simple modification of the traditional U. S. high school grading system that typically goes A, B, C, D, and F.
